The Process
- After an initial email, we will discuss the details and requirements of the project, and set a realistic timeline for it's completion. We will also outline what images, illustrations, and copywrite should be included on the site. This can be done by email, Matrix, phone, or in person meeting. I don't use Skype.
- I will then provide a quote of the total cost of the project. Thereafter, a deposit of 25% of the agreed amount will be due before the project can begin.
- With your feedback, I will build the layout of the site and it's required features while providing information about any design changes and updates about my progress.
- You will receive an invoice notifying you of the project's completion. The remaining 75% of the agreed amount will then be due 30 days after this email is sent and before any code is provided. Beyond the 30 day period, a late fee of 5% will be added to the balance each month or part month.
- Once the invoice is paid, the website will be deployed to your server or hosting service. If necessary, I'll then explain the structure of the code and how changes could be made. I'll also provide links to the official documentation for the tools I used.
- You now have a functional and professional website! I will of course make any revisions you need within reason.
